Emmanuel Mugabo has over 16 years of experience, with 10 years in senior leadership roles. He is currently the Managing Director at Inkomoko and is responsible for Strategy, Team Leadership, Partnerships, and Fundraising. Previously, Emmanuel was the Finance Director at Inkomoko for 6 years during which period, he worked with the senior leadership team to develop the company’s 9 years strategic plan that will end in 2030, expanded operations to 3 additional countries in East Africa, established the finance function in the new offices and led the finance teams in these countries. He also managed Inkomoko Group funding among other things. 

Prior to joining Inkomoko, he worked with Crystal Ventures Group where he served as a Director at Inyange Industries and NPD Ltd and held other positions at the head office. In the earlier years of his career, he worked with Ecobank as an Internal Auditor and Rwanda Revenue  Authority (RRA) as a Tax Auditor.

Emmanuel holds a Bachelor of Commerce from Makerere and an Executive Education Certificate in Governing for Nonprofit Excellence from Harvard Business School.
